Today, The Pokémon Company International released more details about the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pokémon GO expansion. From photo-realistic artwork to new coach maps. Below is a brief description of what this expansion will get.
The expansion is inspired by the Pokémon GO app. This very popular app needs no introduction. The cards feature photo-realistic artwork intended to show off the atmosphere of this popular AR game as much as possible. Some maps show Pokémon as if they have jumped into the real world, others are created based on unique gameplay scenarios.
Some items and characters from the Pokémon GO world will appear as training cards. For example, Lure Module is an item card, and Spark from Team Instinct, Blanche from Team Mystic, and Candela from Team Valor appear as support cards.
The Pokemon-GO expansion will be available worldwide from July 1 this year. Selected products include unique promotional cards, including Pokémon V and powerful new Pokémon VSTAR affecting Pokémon TCG battles.
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Elite Trainer Box (contains a 3D Mewtwo V promotional card).
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Special Collections (contains one of three full art holographic promotion cards from Spark, Blanche or Candela).
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Premium Collection Radiant Eevee.
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Collection Alolan Exeggutor V (Contains 1 3D Promo Card and 1 Alolan Exeggutor V Oversized 3D Card).
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Can (contains a 3D Pikachu promo card featuring the Gift Delivery attack).
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Poké Ball Can.
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO mini cans of Magikarp, Eevee, Blissey, Pikachu and Snorlax.
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO V Battle Decks (contains one or two Mewtwo V or Melmetal V promotion cards).
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO V Battle Deck Mewtwo vs. Pokémon TCG Melmetal (Contains two holographic Mewtwo V and Melmetal V promotional cards).
