Schnapp has already expressed his support for Israel several times, but recently added fuel to the fire by making some Zionist statements about the conflict between Israel and Palestine. After all, it leaves no room for nuance. “You either support Israel or you support terrorism,” the young actor said.
“As a Jew in America, I am afraid. “I’m afraid for my brothers and sisters in Israel,” he began his social media story. Although many fans asked for clarification and asked him more questions, Schnapp responded by hiding the comments. Moments later, Schnapp shared another video mocking deaths in Palestine.

But what really broke the camel’s back was the video in which Schnapp and his friends appeared handing out posters bearing the slogans “Hamas is ISIS” and “Zionism is sexy.” According to his followers, this was really unacceptable and since then there has been a real hounding of the young actor. His statements are being trashed on social media.
There has been no response from the actor at the moment and his social media has remained completely silent for several days. Netflix or the team behind “Stranger Things” have yet to respond to the hype.
