It Melts tells the story of Eva who, after many years of a summer out of control, returns to her home village with an ice block in the trunk of her car. In this way, the young woman not only wants to deal with her past, but also wants to leave a lasting message. The main roles in the film have already been offered to Charlotte de Bruin and Rosa Marchant. The latter was also allowed to receive the “Best Actress” award for her role in Typography, at the US Sundance Festival in Salt Lake City.
At the beginning of this year, Veerle Baetens has already presented the print at the Sundance Film Festival, one of the most important independent film festivals in the US. “I was so nervous,” the actress said afterwards.
