Julia Holcomb says she had a sexual relationship with Tyler for years in the mid-1970s, which began when she was 16 years old. According to Holcombe, she met the singer after an Aerosmith concert in Portland in 1973, shortly after her sixteenth birthday.
“He took me to his hotel room, where we discussed my age,” the indictment said. “After he asked why I was out alone, we talked about my problems at home.” Afterwards, Tyler allegedly “committed various criminal sexual acts”, and sent Holcomb home in a taxi the next morning.
According to Holcomb, 25-year-old Tyler convinced her mother with promises of better living conditions and a good education to give him custody of the 16-year-old, after which she moved in with him and they had a sexual relationship that lasted from 1973 to 1976.

“Almost a Teenage Bride”
Tyler himself described his relationship with Holcombe in his autobiography. It reads, among other things, that the singer admits he “almost got married as a teenager” in the 1970s, and that “her parents fell in love with me, signed a paper that had me take custody so that I wouldn’t be arrested if I took her to another state.”
Further, the book also reads very bluntly: “As a 26-year-old bad girl barely old enough to drive and sexy as anything else, I fell madly in love with her. She was a sweet, skinny, petite, boyish girl in a costume.” little peep boo. It was my heart’s and my partner’s desire for a crime of passion.”
In the lawsuit, Holcomb said she was “powerless before Tyler’s power, celebrity, and considerable financial resources,” and that he “forced and persuaded her to believe it was a matter of ‘romantic love.'” Holcomb, for example, also tells the story of her pregnancy in 1975 — when she was at the age of 17 – which ended in a miscarriage under Tyler’s coercion.

Tyler’s name is not mentioned in the indictment, but it is alleged Rolling Stone It’s pretty clear that it’s about the singer: Holcomb has already made several statements about her relationship with the singer in the past, as well as direct quotes from his bio in her complaint.
Holcomb filed charges of sexual assault, sexual assault, and willful infliction of emotional distress in Los Angeles. According to current California legislation, the statute of limitations has not yet expired, although that legislation will be amended starting January 1.
