If we made a list of contenders for Toy of the Year, Hogwarts Legacy would certainly be among them. The game turned from the world of Harry Potter into a huge success. And if we are to believe the rumours, we can look forward to a sequel.
Warner Bros. is reportedly working on a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy. At least if we’re to believe the usual insiders at MyTimeToShineHello. Although popular, it makes sense given the success of the original. Hogwarts Legacy currently sits in first place as the best-selling game of 2023, despite stiff competition from games like Diablo IV and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The game has now been sold no less than 15 million times!
Obviously we have to wait some time for this. Shortly after the release of Hogwarts Legacy, Warner Bros. announced their next Harry Potter game. In this game called Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, we can practice using our virtual broomstick. We do this online against players who take on the role of hunter, observer, or researcher.
Clearly, Warner Bros. isn’t done with this universe yet. And while we can take news about Hogwarts’ heritage with a grain of salt, we can of course hope. We will keep you informed!
